Jr. LaMancha Does

Tachie has always had the makings of a great doe, but this Spring she had really started putting the pieces together. She is a beautiful black and tan doeling, with frost-tipped ears and nose, on a head that is both wedge-shaped and powerful. Tachie shows a huge amount of body capacity for her age and she carries that width back into her rump and down through to her hocks. The height and width of her escutcheon line catches your eye from across the pen and we cant wait to see what kind of udder she will have next year. Tachie has the strength of feet and legs that will carry her through many productive lactations, with correct angulation and depth of heel.

We always refer to Tachie and her littermate sister, Lil, as "The Tach Twins" because whatever one is doing the other is never far behind.

Lil is a real up-and-comer in our herd and is one you should keep your eye on. She has that kind of glossy hair coat, flashy color pattern and "look at me" attitude that really makes her a stand-out in the showring.

Lil shows excellent dairy character; being sharp and angular throughout. Yet, she is able to achieve this while maintaining exceptional smoothness of blending; these are two traits that are often hard to find in combination. She is very correct in her front end; with generous extension of brisket, tightness at the elbow and sharpness over the shoulder. Lil is exceptionally level and uphill, both on at a standstill and on the move. Plus, anyone who is a stickler for correct breed character in the head, would love the shape and styling on this doeling.

This girl also has a wonderful personality and it one of those goats that meets you at the gate wanting love and attention. As one of our favorite does in the herd, we have a very special AI mating planned for Lil this fall, to one of the most influential LaMancha bucks of all time.We will breed Lill' AI to ++*B Me's Ranch Dutch Belted who was National Premier sire three times and sire of the 1999 National Champion

Adalida is the spitting image of our herd matriarch, Liana! She is very structurally correct; being uphilll and level over her topline and exceptionally wide thru her rump. This cream and white spotted doeling excels in body capacity, showing both depth and width of barrel. Right now she is very long boned and upstanding.

Adalida has excellent rear leg angulation and strength of pastern. Her escutcheon line is exceptionally high and wide so she shows promise of having a great rear udder attachment in the future. Adalida has done very well in the show ring this year, having only been beaten by her sister Blue and her heardmate Lil, before winning her own Grand Champion title.

Baby Blue is the kind of refined, dairy and super flashy LaMancha kid that everyone loves. This silver and white spotted kid is sharp and angular throughout, but maintains smoothness of blending, especially in her shoulder assembly. She walks out with plenty of width between the hocks as well as tons of grace and elegance.

She remains a dominant force in the show ring being undefeated in her age group, she took home the Best Junior Doe in Show title at the Wyoming Quad show this year, beating out 114 other junior does. Blue is a farm favorite with all our visitors because of her wonderful personality, this girl will literally throw herself in your lap to get attention. We have named Baby Blue after the George Straight song of the same title and have high hopes for this little girl!

Texas has very classic LaMancha styling. The first thing you notice about this black and tan doeling is her extreme body capacity. She starts out wide in the chest floor and carries that width back through her barrel and into her rump. She stands uphill and walks out very level over her topline. Texas' flat and open rib structure exemplifies her beautiful dairy character and her rear leg angulation is very sound. We plan on getting Texas out to some shows later this summer.

Tulsa embodies the term stretchy. This is one long-bodied kid! This silver chamoisee doeling maintains excellent strength of topline, showing no weakness of loin or chine.In credit to her dairy character, Tulsa is sharp and angular throughout. These qualities when combined with her long, elegant neck give her a definite stand-out appearance in our junior doe lineup.

This girl and her brother, Luckenbach , are James' favorite kids this year. Tulsa will be bred to *B Kastdemur's Rhone for Spring 2012 kids.

Surya is a very flashy black and tan doeling with white splashes. This doe has inherited her dam's excellent length and style. We can't wait to see how this doe grows and matures.
